At ShareBuddies, your child joins a small, friendly online social skills group a few times a week. Every session is shaped around how your child communicates, so they can build confidence at a pace that feels right for them.
Founded in 2021 and based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, ShareBuddies helps kids who find social situations tricky build real, lasting communication skills. We do it in small online groups, so every child gets plenty of attention.
We believe every child deserves the chance to make genuine friendships and grow their social confidence. Keeping our sessions small and affordable is how we make that possible.
Every student is welcome here, whether they communicate non-verbally, semi-verbally, or verbally. We meet kids where they are.
Each session is shaped around your child's communication style, so they can build confidence and connection step by step.
We work alongside mental health experts to keep our programming caring, practical, and grounded in what actually helps kids.

ShareBuddies has been a game-changer for our son. He used to struggle to connect with other kids, and now he looks forward to his sessions every week. The facilitators are so patient and caring.
My daughter is non-verbal and we were worried about finding the right social support. The non-verbal program is wonderful. The visual supports are perfect, and the staff truly understand her needs.
For what we'd pay for one private therapy session, our son gets several ShareBuddies sessions a week. The quality is incredible, the team has so much heart, and he's made real friends.

Every ShareBuddies session is just $30, with only 2 to 3 students per group. Here's how that compares to typical social skills coaching.
| Option | Cost Per Session | Group Size | Format |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private speech or social skills therapist | $100 to $250 | One-on-one | In-person or online |
| Clinic-based social skills group | $70 to $135 | 6 to 10 kids | Usually in-person |
| ShareBuddies | $30 | 2 to 3 kids | Always online |
With just 2 to 3 kids per group, your child gets the kind of personal attention you'd expect from private coaching, without the private price tag.
Private social skills therapy often runs $100 to $250 a session. At $30, ShareBuddies makes consistent practice something families can actually keep up.
Every session is online, so there's no commute and no waiting room. Your child takes part from a place where they already feel comfortable.
